Thank you. I installed my Grobo on the 7th… Started my seed on the 11th… 4 days in… No signs of life. Fingers crossed. How long did it take for your seedling to pop?

It can take up to 10 days for the seed to sprout. After that you can do some investigating to see if you have to start over.

Thanks, I’ve been reading threads all over… germination, Coco pods, etc. Thanks and I’ll keep AG updated.

Mine popped on Day 4 but I opted not to plant it straight into the coco pod. Instead, I soaked it in RO water for 24 hours ahead of planting it in the pod. In that time, it allowed my seed to open slightly and form a small tap root. I planted the seed taproot side down in a pre-moistened pod and then covered with a piece ripped off the side of the pod per Grobo instructions. I then inserted the pod and started my recipe. I believe this gave me a bit of a “head start”. I will be interested to see when yours pops to see if this is true. If it pops tomorrow then I guess it wasn’t much of a head start haha. Keep us posted!

I’ll keep AG posted for sure. If it doesn’t pop, do I soak the seed in water or start new? I’ll also have to buy new Coco pods. I’m so new at this I am worried that I did something wrong. I adjusted the coco pod level so it’s flushed with the lid because mine is the newer model that doesn’t come with the sticker. I’m worried I’ve caused the seed to dampen off. But I will keep everyone posted. Thanks again for all the support and knowledge.

Seeds can take 14 days to pop dont worry. You can peak after 10 days if she hasnt popped. Dampening off is on the stem. Check out growweedeasy.com and read 1 chapter a night. Youll never remember it all but it helps.

Your seed is going to pop soon Pha! I agree with Todd, I have found www.growweedeasy.com to be a wealth of knowledge, easy to utilize tutorials, and just a generally good way to satisfy a new growers obsession (such as mine which at this point seems terminal 
).

I’m 5 days into my first grow. She just peaked through the top of the pod today. When I went to take a picture I was locked out of my Grobo. At least I can hear my air stone going 
.

You tried using the control button on the back of the Grobo and it still wouldn’t let you in?
Yeah a few times. My machine doesn’t even have lights on. Inside or out but my air stone is going.
What color is the indicator light above the grobo door?
There sis no light at all.
The small light that is usually pulsing blue when everything is running correctly is completely off?
