Is your airstone actually producing bubbles? Are are the bottles of nutrients at same level?

I would leave them (if it was me): They can be some use to the plant while it is still small: They are not completely useless yet: ((#YourPlantYourCall)): (When/If) they get worse and when they go in the undergrowth they will be clipped, if it isn’t an Auto-Grow:

When you start (Topping) and manipulating your plant to make sure the (BudSites) are in the Light:

@Hazy_Hoose are you using tap water? If so, do you know how it tests ?

The only two water options you should be using is…
Reverse Osmosis = RO water
Distilled water :droplet:
If you are then the next action is to check your pump and air stone following with temps & humidity. If these things check out then a ticket to support will be helpful.

Hey guys appreciate the speedy responses. @Nathan the air stone is definitely producing bubbles adequately. @Bplatinum9 I only use distilled water. @chris_barfield I should definitely start testing the PH, Ill have to get back to you on that one. @Stephen will submit a ticket soon.

PS - I did remove the first 2 nutrient bottles & I saw a slight improvement & fresh growth at the top. Not sure if this clue helps at all?

Thank you so much my beautiful grow family :green_heart::raised_hands:t4::pray:t4::100:

The first two bottles are ph up and down. These bottles cause most of the initial issues we all have. Unplugging them is fine as long as you are ph’ Your water before a fill. If not your ph will most assuredly be off, so ph pen by blue labs is of paramount importance :v:

Updated photo, support said PH was a little high (6.5) adjusted it & so we shall continue to monitor over the next couple of days? Nutrient bottles 1&2 are still removed from my Grobo. Curious to see what you guys think? Thanks grow fam! :green_heart::100::raised_hands:t4:

Ok, so your rh needs to come up quite a bit. Also if you are keeping bottles 1+2 unplugged, then it is imperative you ph your ro water before you fill, otherwise you are going to get massive ph swings and your plant won’t like it. Always ph at the low end as it will inevitably be higher when you drain! You should also ph your drain water to get a baseline of how high your ph is getting during the week :+1::v:

I love the way you give advice! @Osage I find this process to be stressful when trying to figure things out. This is much harder than soil and sun. But you usually give some great tips even when I’m just browsing posts. Thank you!! :grinning: you keep me from getting frustrated without even knowing it.

Hey @Hazy_Hoose,

Just a note that our adjustments won’t take place without bottle #1 and #2 hooked up. You can certainly get a pH pen and do this all by hand, but balancing pH is happening every hour in your unit. The 1st stage can be stressful as the lack of food in the reservoir causes the pH to bounce more than any other stage. I expect you pH is still too high as the system can’t adjust at all without the bottles connected.

Cheers,
Stephen

PS - @Osage is a great Champion and super helpful to our community fo sho

I put a small humidifier in the room my unit is in. I find it’s easier to control the inside of the grobo when I have the environment outside the grobo dialed in.
