I’m on day 38 of my grow. I’ve extended the transition stage by one week. How can I tell if I’m ready to move onto flowering stage
Im new to this as well but I definitely do a lot of research & studying. Anyways from what other champions have told me you should probably top/fim & lollipop her under growth a little bit. If you want to see how my progress is going ill tag you in my thread shortly. Also I extended my early vegetation & late vegetation by an extra week. Happy growing!!!
Extend late veg another week or two. Everyone’s been telling me by the end of late veg she should be near the second fan
Definitely trim it up
You missed the Veg. Trimming:

Whatever you decide to do with this grow, you can make notes on for the next grow: Most of us are still in the learning phases:

I’ve been trimming it. I guess not enough. Topped it. I’ll do some trimming tomorrow and post pictures of her all cleaned up
Trim trim trim. Those bottom branches that don’t see any light, I would cut them to give the branches up top all the energy. Check out YouTube videos or posts on this forum.
Have you super cropped?
“When trimming make sure not to trim more than 20% of your plant’s matter at any one time. Remember, it’s just a trim not a full haircut!” -Grobo’s guide
Going into transition I take it? If so then yeah for sure! It’s recommended to get around the second fan and you’re there for sure.
You could clean up the bottom a bit too before it does, called lollipopping, pretty much just getting rid of anything that isn’t getting light or branches that are going to get buried under once the stretch starts, in turn the plant will look like a “lollipop”.
Haha…the stretch is real…
Nothing wrong with your trim! No pun intended! Your plant looks great and all your bud sites have access to the light!
In the future, if you top a sativa more, she will grow bushy instead of stretch like that. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but maybe not. The more you top the bushier the plant. So for sativas I top a shit load to keep her short, stout and loads of bud sites that will fill in and stack, for an indica, I’ll top a few times then let her stretch, then top more. I typically have to selectively harvest on indicas as opposed to sativas if that makes any sense
