Hello Just bought Grobo and complete Newbie

Hello All,
As title stated, I just bought my grobo and have never tried to grow anything really. Couple questions/concerns.

  1. Should I germinate in the pod or another method?
  2. After ordering it seems like many users have issues with their system. Would like to know how many people have had issues vs smooth sailing.
  3. I was going to put this in a garage closet away from prying eyes and children but the temperature in the winter gets down to 50F inside. During summer it stays cool around 70-75. Should I get a space heater?
  4. Should I buy extra supplies like Ph meter, EC meter, TDS meter, temp/RH? If so any affordable recommendations?

Hi @Jojo420 welcome

We all do it different so best to get the hang of it and then fine tune it.
I do not pre soak my seeds I just pop em in.
Yes several of us have had issues. Some have some havent. Not much can be done about it at this point but if anything seems out juat email support@grobo.io
Those temperatures seem ok to me. I would be more worried about how hot it gets.
Yea everyone buys little extra things to help them out when growing. A spare pump is also useful incase yours dies and is relatively cheap $20. Some items are big costs and a users personal choice.

Thanks @Todd.grobo, and Hello @SilverGrobo. I just received my white widow feminized seeds from Crop King, and I was looking through the recipes and noticed White widow shows up a few times but none from crop long breeder. I was going to select Royal Queen Breeder White widow. Would you recommend that recipe or another? I still haven’t received my grobo but want to hit the ground running once it arrives.

Hey @Jojo420,

Welcome aboard! RQB White widow is a great choice. I’m not a fan of Crop King, so you may not see many recipes from that breeder in our app. You can select the RQB recipe and we can adjust if needed.

Life saver fashur wife would of kicked me to the dog house with my grobo if loud! will definitely try out that nano if it needs it any videos on hooking up the pump?
