Twins?

Canna are the first plants I have ever been able to grow, so it may be really common with plants. But it looks like one of my ladies is twins?

Heard of this, never seen it though. Good article on twins for a read.

This one appears to have one tap root and two stems. It looks like they join just under the surface.

If that’s the case…not sure I myself would grow it. Definitely would be cool to watch, but two main stems off one taproot sounds like it would cause issues (to me anyways).

No clue. But I think I can clip the little one if needed. The bigger one is very robust.

I would snip the smallest one if you can. Let the strongest one take off. What a neat mutation. Maybe the buds will come out fasciated! It’s also possible she could be a hermaphrodite which is no fun, so it’s a crap shoot. Could be something amazing!
