Should I top and remove bottom leafs

Honestly at this point leave it until it’s ready to fall she needs to grow more leaves or it will be harder for her to recover and they are t hurting or blocking anything … I would be focused on how to transplant to a bigger net pot

Do you know if it’s a fem seed for sure?? Hard to tell just yet, but you might just have a male on your hands :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::+1::v:

Ok I’m going to leave it I will post a updated picture in a few days see how it looks

This plant is growing in a box like Grobo so I don’t think a bigger mesh pot isn’t possible? Do you think that will be a problem?

Seed is feminized so should be female

Well that’s good to hear. She’s stretching so much, I’d probably turn the light up a bit, otherwise she might just fall over :+1::v:

I kicked up my lights a bit. I see some of my leafs cupping very little.

Does this look normal? I just don’t want to burn them again?

@Mpower11,

Leaves curling on a cannabis plant , sometimes referred to as ’ cupping ’ or ‘canoeing’ leaves , are an indication of an unhealthy plant . This may be due to a watering issue—either too much or too little. This could also be due to any number or combination of nutrient deficiencies.

That could be too:

On account of your plant being so spacious as it is, the light is making its way down to the bottom, so no removal of bottom leaves are necessary: I just read this somewhere:

When it is time for the buds to be starting to form though- -The huge leaves should go so it will push the energy into the Buds instead of focusing on the huge fan leaves: Does this make sense?:

Now can that be attributed to being newer growth? Just wondering cause the other leaves in the pic don’t seem to be doing that

You are correct the lower leaves do not show any signs of it it’s all the head (new growth)

Just not sure if that is normal or should I lower my light power or something else?

Overall I think the plant looks heathy and roots are nice and white

I think it looks healthy

Here is a update on my Plant now.

It’s 8 inches tall do you think it’s ready to be topped?

Yes it is!

I thought so also thanks

How long do you think before I start removing bottom leaves?

It depends on how fast your plant is growing. If you have a leaf that has more than 50% damage you can get rid of it now. I wouldn’t remove anything from your plant other than topping because it doesn’t have many leaves.

Ok thanks for the help

Here’s an update on my plant everything is looking good I think my next question is when do you think I should switch my lights to 12/12 based on how this plant looks now?

She’s looking awesome! Happy to see the progress! How are things coming along with mixing nutrients and draining/filling the unit with H20?

How’s the unit functionality after a few weeks of use?

I don’t have anything to compare yet. My Grobo is ordered last I heard it maybe shipping end of next week. But I will try to best to answer your question

The units are being shipped at this time in beta mode and at this time it’s not automatic. They are working and updating app weekly with new functions

  1. Every week I have to get a bucket full with water mix my own nutes.

  2. check your ph and adjust if need this should be daily if you have time

  3. it doesn’t have a built in pump so you have to manual pump your water out.

So that was kind of the negative now this is the good some nice functions it has are

  1. measures your plant height
  2. measures your water height (tank)
  3. has built in Ac and Heat
  4. has temp and humidity reads built in unit
  5. has side lights and top (thinking that’s a plus)

Here is the main page on the app

Any thoughts when you think it will be time to change on lights to 12/12?
