Growing NL as well, but my plant is way shorter than yours. Barley hit the bottom fan. Looking good, dude

Your good, don’t trim anymore for a few weeks. You could cut those small branches down below that aren’t getting light now. Concentrate on top canopy, let it fill out.

Good rule of thumb for defoliation is no more than 20% at a time to prevent shocking. But yeah you could keep the bottom half of your plant bare to focus on your main buds like DanTom said. Look up lollipopping if you’re not familiar with it :+1:

Will definitely follow the rule of thumb from now on. Thanks for the advice.

Day 99 47 of 47 flower should be flushing tomorrow.

She’s looking good. May I suggest like @Russel_Richardson mentioned, you may want to leave a few more of the smaller leaves at least as thats where she’s getting her energy to make (possibly imo) bigger, fuller buds. I think if you’re in flush phase and she looks like that it’s spot on. :+1:

Dew have you ever noticed a difference when extreme trimming on the size of the buds?
Many of the plants I have watched with LST training seem to be sparse. Whats your take?

Yes next grow will definitely have more leafs.

Hey @Bplatinum9 Looking at my grows my style is to have bottom half all off, and to leave most small sugar leaves and even a few big fan leaves from middle up like ones that grow into a corner or aren’t blocking light/bud sites. Timing and recovery are crucial to me. In the wild, these gals wouldn’t be losing any leaves. With that said, bending them out of the way is my go to and lolly popping until a week or so from flushing then all big fan leaves go. Buds/flowers can even be bent out carefully and sugar leaves can also be moved out of the way. The more light your flowers get and genetics seem to have the biggest impact in my experience with these units with yield.
