Ok so, somethings have went wrong with my grow for sure.
I didnt start off the greatest with the ph problems, and drainage issues but I’m hoping to do better next grow.

I had one seed called super critical bud CBD by garden of green it ended up foxtailing.

Second seed is white widow by seedsman that looks burnt but still has moisture in it. (free seed).

Thoughts anyone?

They looking pretty done @Bplatinum9. White Widow has reach end of term for sure, I would flush heavy both plants and harvest within the next week otherwise risk more stress which is causing the fox tails and drying out. Some things I’ve been reading and witnessing with Floraflex is dialing back your nutrient feed from your max feed down to almost 0 EC depending on water content, and you’ll push all nutrients through the plant, which really ripens up the plant. You can continue to add SLF or Hygrozyme the whole way through to break down extra build up in soil. Good thing floraflex use small pots for easy flushing.

Installed floraflex micro dripper setup this weekend. Super simple. So much easier and more efficient than hand feeding. Glad those days are over.

All plants popped from unsexed seeds:

7 x Nitro Cookies by In House Genetics
1 x Death Stomper by Ice River

Flower Regiment:
1ml/gal Power Si Regular (inhibits stretching)
1ml/gal Power Si Bloom
1g/gal Chelated EDTA Calcium
.5g/gal Epsom Salts
2.5g/gal Bloom A
1.5g/gal Bloom B

About 500ml per feed, 3 feeds daily, but haven’t dialed in the timing yet.

I am flushing today for ten days. I was really late with the slf-100 almost the last two weeks of flower is when I started using it.
Also I’m not a fan of seedsman brand seeds I haven’t had one that went well yet.

What did you decide on for drainage? Or are you recirculating?

At the feed rate right now, it’s about 150-200ml drainage per plant per feed, which is a little high, but I’m trying to make sure I flush good nutrient through the plant at the start to remove any old nutes I was using. I would probably like to dial it in around 400ml feed 100ml drain. Even a variable schedule would be nice too.
1st feed 500ml in 150ml out
2nd feed 200ml in 0ml out
3rd feed 400ml in 100ml out
4th feed 200ml in 0ml 0

Nice setup. What are using for a Pump? Are your drippers pressure regulated? If they are you will need about 20 PSI to open them?

I ask because I have all the gear to build a drip line setup just like yours just need to size a pump

On a good note you got some nice size on your buds

Also I recommend you add the flora Cap on top of your pots… It will help with bugs / slow down drying out more even watering…

On the website it says that it’s a 1/2 Gal emitter, that requires about 15-20psi. I’m planning on running an 824gph pump from VivoSun nothing crazy but should be enough. I believe I can regulate the pressure with the caps I added to the end but will see, might add a gauge and regulator if it isn’t enough. I have the caps but I need the “drip shields” and didn’t get them for this run. Gonna see how they do without before I grab a bunch of shields.

ok sounds good on the Caps :+1:

Have you tested that pump yet? I ask because I tried a pump that was rated for 800 GPH and it wouldn’t open them just a heads up on my end.

Haven’t tried it yet. I figured for 30 bucks can’t go wrong and I’m going to add a water chiller-coil setup at some point so if it doesn’t work for the first use we always have another application waiting. Nothing wasted :muscle:t3: I will keep you in the loop with my experiment. If I’m gonna need something strong I might just end up getting a 1/10 - 1/4 hp pump and just regulate it.

Just thought I would share my information based on what I tried… Only thing different was my drippers I tried are not from FloraFlex but really don’t think it matters all that much… The ones I tried open the diaphragm at 15 Psi… I also tried non regulated drippers they worked with the 800 GPH pump but had less control… Keep me in the loop on the pump if you don’t mind.

Well, in order to save time and energy I went straight to the source. I hit up floraflex tech support and the told me what they use in their videos is the EcoJet R90. Pricey but seems like a pretty solid build.

I’m going to do some market research before I pull the trigger on this one. Will return with what I find…

Update:

Pump is definitely legit. Seems pricey but actually rather fair for the quality. Larger models and competitors running at $200-$300+ depending how big of a motor you need. Flora Flex tech said this pumps up to 40 feet with no issues of reaching 15psi for all their testing.

That’s a big pump for real… looks really nice but wow draws 6.2 amps. My current breaker with the rest of my tent couldn’t handle this load. For this reason alone I think I would do non pressure regulated drip.

Did you ask tec how many drippers per line they use with that pump? With how many plants you have I’m hoping a smaller pump will work

Update
I see you kind of answer this in the post above

This a little more reasonable I think. And won’t burn out if no feed left…

I think that would work. I see you have the drip gun to make your own holes. Consider this tho For like .50 for a non pressure drip. It’s a very cheap fix and with my testing it wasn’t bad
