Blueberry Muffin - First Grow

@SWSVIC what ppm is coming out and are u measuring the 500 or 700 standard.

@Aang if u have the blue lab Ec meter…just calibrate yourself and take reading periodically. You can inform the support team at Grobo if your Rez EC is running high and prevent issues before u see it on the leaves. EC can range from 1-2 and anything higher , I would keep a closer eye on. The most important thing is how your plants looks

Hey @Long I’m using PPM700, last reading I took (last Friday) was 1690. EC was at 2.4. Plant is happy, has been living in these conditions essentially it’s entire life (since the beginning of Late Veg.). :man_shrugging:t2:

If she is digging it- that is the best part. How dark are leaves btw, are they normal color or super dark green?

Lights are off currently, this close up is from Friday just before she switched to transition. Appears “normal” in color with new growth being light.

Looks good to me… nice trellis too! What u got growing?

GDP, this is my first grow (ever), opted to go with something that was tried and true and had a “solid” Grobo recipe. I knew next to nothing about growing or genetics when I chose. I have some very special gear lined up for the future. Next grow will be Frosted Cherry Cookies (Fem) from Relentless. Followed by some Bloom genetics, and then some Horchatas from Wyeast. Check out my thread here:

Update: Grobo pH probe is reading around 6.0-6.2. Will monitor the new leaves for brown spots.

I’m on day 22, Early Vegetation (day 12/14). This is what the recipe schedule looks like:

From what I’ve read, people generally do not extend Early Vegetation and they go straight to Late Vegetation and extend from there if needed.
My plant is still tiny, do you guys think I should extend her for another week at least?

Leave her be but maybe push the pod down a mm.

Will do. Thanks!

She is looking rough right now…don’t know if extending right now or wait til next phase but imo might as well wait…you can still always change schedule after in late veg

If its your first grow id leave the schedule alone.

Hey Todd, you don’t think the increased nutrient dosage of Late Veg may cause harm to the plant?

No. Not at all.

I pushed the coco pod 1mm as @Todd.grobo suggested.

Day 26, Vegetation (Day 2/14)

She’s growing. I’m keeping an eye for browning on the new leaves. It looks like I’ll have to prune the bottom leaves in the future since they’re brown.

How does she look? As always, this community’s insight and advice is always appreciated

Is there any environmental issues that u are aware of Ang…? Roots seem a little small to me for 26 days ? That could explain the slow growth and yellowing…

Hey @Jamminbear, not that I’m aware of. I cleaned and calibrated the pH probe about 4-5 days ago.

Grobo team says my pH is 6.0-6.2 range. My nutrition bottle #5 hasn’t dispensed anything but they said that’s fine. I’m planning to do a pH and EC reading soon on my next Drain/Fill.

Temp around 71-78 degrees F
Humidity around 42%-54%
Water temp around 68-70 F
Using distilled water but will be using a different brand on the next Drain/Fill
Added Hydroguard and have an extra air pump running

@Todd.grobo thanks!

Should I remove all the leaves below the red line? My next Drain/Fill is in 2 days, should I wait until the water change?
