Just peeked down below today and my root is through the bottom! Top of the pod is still somewhat wet even with the two small fans blowing on it. I’m hoping that when she hits early veg the water level goes down. I don’t really know what else to do about the pod wetness.

The wetness should definitely subside at that point. Only a couple more days.

So I did a drain and fill on day 7. Will I get another day 10? If so, can I use the same water, as in drain and fill same bucket?

No, drain/fills are done once a week by schedule. You can certainly perform a “Manual” (through the app) drain/fill should you feel your plant is ready for nutes. I also prefer to do drain/fills on big defoliation days unless I can time them out to coincide with my drain/fill schedule.

Wasn’t sure if it would ask for another drain/fill on early veg.

Day 11 (1/14 early veg) Still a happy little girl. Nutes dispensed today regardless of drain/fill.

Very cool, didn’t know they did that! May be a good idea to top off your reservoir to aid with any burn it may experience.

Will do!

Looking at the picture I blotted the top of my pod with a paper towel as it still hasn’t dried up at all. Hoping the next drain fill eliminates that.

If not then pushing up your pod a bit is a must my man (very carefully). I’m sure you saw what just happened to our boy Speagler’s plant.

I did :weary:, and I already pushed it up once but the fill lvl is still at germ so it’s high. I’m standoffish of pushing up now that the roots are out.

Wait until you see what happens out of germ, hopefully it dries. If it’s still over saturated after a couple of days then you’ve got to do it or your plant will most likely meet the same demise.

I will, just not looking forward to it :unamused:

Day 13 (3/14 early veg)

She’s still a happy camper. Blotted the top of the pod and the moisture hasn’t seemed to return so that’s a good sign. Question…does the first set of serrated leaves (not the cotyledons) count as a node? Just curious for topping reasons.

Very good question! I count nodes when branches actually meet at the stem…I believe they do.

Day 20 (early veg 10/14)

Came home after 5 days out of town to a very happy little girl. Even trimmed off 2 of the lower fan leaves as they felt dry and were starting to die off.
