Using magnets on door

I have looked and looked but all I can find is using magnets along the gap in the door.

If I was to get a flat rolled magnet sheet, cut it to size and cover the front completely; will this negatively affect the window or any airflow? Or will it stop both light and smell leakage like I think it might.

Yeah! I’m referring to yours!

I’m still waiting on delivery so I don’t have one in front of me but I’m thinking a full front magnet, not just on the side. The Panda film is a solid idea, but it’s going to be in my room and I want to eliminate light seepage. Plus if it blocks any extra smell, that would be a bonus.
