Honestly right on time for my style of trimming.

I don’t like to stress the plant during the stretch and before bud bulking starts.

This is normally week 2 to 3. This way the plant is fully recovered before bulking starts which is week 4 to 6 (based on a 8 to 9 week strain)

Agreed, I like day 21-28 of flower which is including transition.

This was my trim the day before transition and D/F. Feedback welcome please…

IMO, you went a bit TOO heavy. Keep in mind, it’s not about cutting everything off up to just the canopy. You still want some stuff below. Fan leaves (1 or 2) at the lower portion of each branch help deliver nutes up to the buds once in flower. You’ll probably be just fine, but yield will be lower. Only time will tell.

Hey all, been a while. Went through some personal issues and disappeared for a bit. Kinda lost care for my grow, but she survived. Another 2 weeks of flower, then flush and harvest. Not my best grow, but some is better than none.

Regardless, she looks happy! Hope all is well.

So she’s in flush. Gotta plan for my harvest day next Saturday…she’ll be ready. @Choppo0816 @Mpower11 @Todd.grobo I’ll finally be able compare Cannatrol to jars. Can’t control the humidity in the tent so I’ll be doing an overnight dry in the tent, 10 day dry in the cannatrol, then cure 3/4 in cannatrol and the other 1/4 in jars to see the difference.

I’ll be firing up the cannatrol in a couple weeks. Maiden voyage

You supercropped that branch? Looks like a nice grobo haul

Yes I did. It was sitting in the back left corner all the way up to the :top: and pretty much in a dead spot. I wanted to give it more light for the last 10 days. Should’ve done it much sooner but oh well.

That was a good idea

Well, here she is! Not the best grow I’ve had, but after forgetting about it multiple times, I’m happy with it. Buds are super dense for the ones that were higher. Overnight dry in the Grobo, then off to the cannatrol to dry. I’ll be curing most of the harvest in there, but a little bit in jars to compare the difference. Also went light on the trim, this’ll be the first time I get to try the Cannabrush @Vicc

Just a question for my knowledge but why are you not drying in the cannatrol from day 1? I just started flush yesterday and I plan on doing the complete dry and cure in my cannatrol. And I’ll be storing it in brown unwaxed paper lunch bags in the cannatrol also. This will be my 1st time using it.

Cannatrol recommends a 24 hour dry outside before placing in there, that is why. Also, don’t place in bags until you hit your “store” stage. All buds need to be separated during dry and cure.

Correct. My unit said the first day to NOT use the sponge then put the sponge in the 2nd day. I need to re-read it as I didn’t see anything about drying outside the unit previously. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll read the manual again. Nice harvest brother.

One thing I’m trying this go around is leaving everything on the branch to put in cannatrol. Last time it was just buds, and seemed to dry pretty quickly. This time I’ll leave on branches for dry, final trim and then cure only buds…hope it turns out ok.
