Nutes

Just wondering are the nutrients grobo sell for their unit organic?

They are synthetic. If they were organic, it would smell like someone took a :poop: in your reservoir

Organic nutrients come from fertilizer which comes from :poop: and decomposition
I have an organic fertilizer sponsorship with foop, and trust me you don’t want to be using it for indoor plants, best to keep it with outdoors and greenhouse plants.

LOL thank you I really had organic nutes were that bad hmmm, why are synthetic nutes looked down upon organic nutes? I am assuming because it is so much more good bacteria and organisms in the living nutes?

well organic is more natural so people love to boast about it. Synthetic is convenient and great however there are people who could have allergies to synthetic nutrients (im guessing) and would want a cultivator who uses organic.

You even see organic labels on weed sometimes in California. its definitely sought after.

Ok awesome thank you for the wonderful information and insight on this, I wasn’t even thinking of someone could possibly be allergic to one of the elements used in the synthetic, we can both agree that would be a terrible high while in a full blown allergic reaction! :grimacing:

Besides in my Grobo at this time I have 0 interest in using synthetic nutes…

There is pro’s and con’s to everything but for me organic growing is where it’s at… The flavors and quality is unreal with “True” organic’s … Product is so clean you don’t even need to flush you plants… I don’t need to Ph my water… No mixing nutes… Simply the best… When I switch from Synthetic to true organic it took my product to the next level… At least in my eyes…

Here was my last organic grow if you want to check it out

OFF TOPIC :grinning: Organic or not, you can also just use the same brand of product’s like AN and you dont have to worry about water, ph and all that. Another box I was looking at before uses something different with the same “3” punch of nutes like Grobo does, but they dont need the ph up/down due to how they nutes are. No checking ph, no fuss mixing or anything, once a week add 1tbsp 1 1 1 of each or if using 2 you use 2 2 2 or 4 you use 4 4 4.

One day I hope to get one of my Grobos fully on Advanced Nutrients and see what happens. I will let Grobo control the lights, fan and water levels and I will dose it and see.

I fully understand what you mean but I don’t feel it’s the same at all… Your relying on science / yourself to be in control of your plants… I’m relying on Mother Nature to be in charge of my plants… I will take Nature any day over science… I’m not sure if you fully understand how both growing methods work

I see your side and doggy’s side as well, Nature will ALWAYS be superior over lab made/combined shit any day but then AN is pretty much dummy proof when it comes to noob growers it is all in what you like, what you prefer, and what works best for you now and currently I guess!

AMAZING and I mean AMAZING looking colas and plants did you trim your buds while still attatched to plant?

You are 100% correct

The easiest method of growing is “True Organic’s” I have advised and gave tips to many members here on the topic and everyone that I know of love the style of growing and I didn’t think they will ever change back. I’m only saying this because I think a lot of people think it’s hard but really it’s not… Once you understand the rules it’s really hard to fail…

@Fresh @Steve Any plans on trying synthetic growing again? How has your journey been so far?

Thanks a lot getting excited to fire up the Tent again…

HaHa ya I did… It’s so much easier on my body trimming like this… then I cut the whole plant and hang it trimmed / whole…

I must have a picture somewhere

I am going to give organics a try when I have my own place in a few years with some tent grows! I am super excited to give them a try do you have a feed chart you use?

Ok sweet I am going to cut all my branches off and put them all in a tray and sit down at the table and trim all at once and hang on grobo support racks to dry! In the machine of course
