I was worried because I hate to make a mistake! Your always so helpful!!!
congrats! nice harvest!
Simply awesome good job and your son will be happy!
So my harvest has been done and I’m learning how to use the levo 2 machine. I made some weed butter with coconut oil and sweet leaf! I made some fried rice for dinner with it and it turned out great!
Two different dosage breakdowns for 1/2 cup coconut oil.
Lighter blocks: 3.5g/Sweat Leaf. 21%/THC. Portions/10.
735 mg/ Recipe. One Portion/ 73.50 mg
Darker blocks: 10g/Sweat Leaf. 21%/THC. Portions/10.
2100mg/Recipe. One Portion/ 210.00 mg
I used 2 cups of coconut oil in each.
How did you determine 21%/THC? I’m fairly new to extractions and nowhere near an expert (still learning), but Extractions such as chems, butane or co2 only pull 80-90% of the thca leaving the left overs with some medicinal value remaining. Reports suggests convention ovens to decarb to be even lower %’s pulled. From what I’ve read is kush and cookies typically ranges from 18-20% THCA which then would need to be activated via extraction, press, decarbing (conv oven), smoking ect losing a little something in the transition. My guess is it’s significantly lower than the controlled environment of the breeder whom sent off a clipping of mother plant for analysis which was grown in soil. It’s been noted that this is a problem in the cannabis industry where values are added to encourage sales knowing damn well the end user won’t get Sample A, but b,c,d ect or anywhere near the suggested thc% cbd% since it’s mostly unregulated. There was a Netflix special on cannabis and the industry that I watched a month ago that covered a lot of this. In short, we never know what we’re actually getting. I’ll post it if I can find it again.
Just curious is all - I like math didn’t know if you had a way of testing at home or your device did so for you.

Interesting read on extractions
This seems to be a problem with breeders and or cultivators in fudging the #’s.
Fudging The Numbers?
“A complaint submitted to regulators at the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) earlier this year by a group of cannabis industry members accused Bellingham-based Peak Analytics, the state’s largest cannabis testing laboratory, of consistent, large-scale inaccuracies. According to the complaint, Peak “sweetened” its THC content tests, reporting artificially high THC levels. The lab also allegedly rejected an abnormally low number of cannabis samples for microbial contamination.
Analysis of data from the Washington Cannabis Laboratory Association — a group of state-licensed testing labs formed in 2016 — showed significant discrepancies between results of potency tests conducted by Peak Analytics and those performed by the state’s next five largest labs. Peak’s flower samples, on average, measured about five percentage points higher in THC than did those of its competitors.”
I too will be using an estimate, just curious how you came to that conclusion without sending a leaf or bud off to a lab to validate potency. I’m sure you have top shelf cannabis. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your success. You should consider posting your edibles recipe on the edibles post I opened the other day. I hope to be able to refer to that post in the coming months and make all types of goodies that allgrowers made.
I did find this upon reviewing random websites for testing purposes. For most of us it won’t matter as we’re simply consumers, but since it’s relatively inexpensive I will reach out to company for a potential analysis and cost of
I have no idea if this company is legit
I didn’t the manufacturer did. When I bought the seed it had already been tested at 21%THC and 19% CBD.
Didn’t scroll up to see if you posted a harvest dry weight. What did you end up pulling for your first grobo grow?
Very cool, congrats
( kush n Cookies ll )
Decided to use the same feed, cleaner for the forum and easier to compare with my last grow.
Day 6 (New Grow)
Had two failed grows (cheese seeds by seedsman) before I decided to go back to my first grow (kush n cookies).
Start was pretty rough with my seed hat being stuck, it may have stunted the grow for a second but I was able to get it off so let the growing begin!
Good luck!!!
Thanks Shteve, I’m gonna need it… Keep you posted!
you got this B! good luck
