4 that I could point out from that photo. U want to keep it symmetrical. And yes I’d cut all in one day then let her recover till you need to trim again.

No problem most ppl say a 20% hair cut off is standard. I’ve done a bit more I believe on mine tho

Another hair cut today, (late veg day 21) pics mixed with before and after. My unit is getting too hot the humidity is staying around 63% need to buy a fan soon. Not sure if I cut too much. Trying out my clone again from my clippings. Are my roots looking healthy enough? The brown gook is not a slimy substance but with my temps being so high I need a second eye! @Stephen, I wish they could modify the magnets a bit so that the hardened glue on the sides wouldn’t scratch the unit up so much, its ruining my unit!

Only because I messed up and cut a piece I probably shouldn’t have! Lol! It kept falling over with just water so I cut part of a coco pod. Just trying my newbie luck! Thanks!

Late Vegetation (Day 21 / 35)
Still having issues with humidity… and I don’t have the money for an air chiller… Any suggestions? Staying at 63-65% bought three small fans and installed one low and one high inside the grobo, one outside the grobo pointed toward the back of the machine to ensure circulation of air and reached a cool 59% but the battery wore out twice on my inside fans by the time I woke up to 65% humidity. I then woke up and installed the same fan I used for the back of the unit inside the unit and trailed the cord just outside the bottom part of the door. Fifteen minutes later I reached 63% I’ll check back in a bit.

I purchased an additional fan as well and went back and forth on best options and this was what I came up with. Very reasonable pricing and output of power (air flow) is perfect for the Grobo interior.

To give you an idea of the size inside the unit. I’m using a rechargeable battery pack to run the fan without having a cord run out of the unit. Or you could opt to use (4) AA batteries :battery: :battery:

Now were talking! I think the rechargeable battery pack is a great idea, ive never heard of one so this is good news!
Question: how long does the charge last and does it have multiple outlets to plug in more than one thing at a time? Where did you find it and whats the average cost? Thanks in advance for any info you can share and thanks again for the reply!

The battery pack itself takes a decent amount of time to fully charge (6-9 hours) pending how low the battery is when you begin charging.

With that being said, I had the fan inside the unit just to test the battery and after 14 hours the pack still had (2) of its (5) indicator lights on and could have ran for another 1-2 hours I’d say. Very happy with the performance of both and believe it will add a little help with the overall yield.

A friend of mine is letting me use the battery pack during my grow. Mentioned their father purchased it as a gift for them, but never mentioned from where or the cost associated. I circle back and if I can get any updates information I’ll let you know.
