I just topped, should I lollipop now too?

Hi Stephen,

I am on my first grow of Afghan Feminized variety, the picture is today day 28. I just topped it this morning and I was wondering if I should do any lollipopping now or wait so I don’t stress out the plant?

Hey @Bigalxxx21,

Nice and healthy looking plant there! Couple pointers for you…

  1. Use the @symbol when responding to growers here, they will get tagged for your post!
  2. After topping, make sure you add a week or two to your late vegetation stage 3 with the shift stage feature in the app.
  3. No need to lollipop yet, wait until you are closer to the top of the 1st fan and go easy. This is your 1st Grobo grow, so I like to recommend you get a feel for the plant before going too crazy with lst and hst techniques.

I agree with @Stephen on #3. Don’t go overboard on training your first grow. I’m starting to think that a pure Indica Auto should be recommended as a first grow as it should be short and give an introduction to the process.
