First Grow Super Silver Haze ILGM

Hi all.
I’m new to the forum and wanted to share my grow so far.

I am starting my last week of veg. Hopefully she will gain some height this week.

Looks healthy.
I just grew this strain; it took a long time to get up to the 2nd fan, it never really stretched too much. But that may be because I had a few issues that delayed its progress.
Its been curing for a month now. I plan on trying it out this weekend.

Right on man! Thanks for the heads up. I think I’ll add another week to the vegg cycle then. I was wondering how much it would stretch so that’s good to know.

@vegetato Sorted, got myself some 6% h2o2, cleaned the roots a few times until they were nice and white again. The cleaned Grobo, rinsed the water 3 times so everything is looking good again. Hydroguard should come this week so will use that too when it gets here.[image] [image] [image] [image]

I used the 3% or 6% stuff from pharmacy. There’s also horticultural grade which is more concentrated at 20-35% which is better if you can get your hands on it. Zerotol HC is one of the more popular ones to get. This is what I’ve done in the past to deal with this: Put some h2o2 and water in a bowl or bucket; roughly a cup of (3-6%) h2o2 to a few cups of water. Roots turning dark brown

@Leafy271 when I did this cleanse my intent was to kill everything living on and around the roots, which can leave the roots vulnerable. Be aware that h2o2 doesn’t discriminate, it will affect/kill good bacteria along with the bad. Also note that mixing h2o2 with tap water has a reduced effect, it reacts with chlorine which leaves less available to go after the bacteria. I have this strain on day 49 of flower. Like @crasch said I had to extend mine alot as well to get to the second fan. Mine did not stretch much either. You will definitely want to extend veg, prob will have to extend it a few times to get to that second fan

Be sure to extend late veg and not in early veg!
Late veg and again if needed in flower stage!

I’ve had some good luck getting my plant to grow. Mostly just had to get the temp in my cabinet to increase without heating up the water tank.
