It would be for one feed per day. Have you thought about if your going to circulate with an extra pump even though it has no nutes to keep it from getting stale?
My idea was 1 feed a day thinking last watering of the day
Yes need to cir if I’m going to hold water for say 1 week.
If I end up doing this I may just setup say 2 days worth of water off the start. (This way I don’t spend much money if I don’t like the results) If I end up liking the results I will then get a pump / setup 1 week supply.
At this point I just chatting about the idea and seeing if anyone has any thoughts on this one… Let’s see if we can get some feedback @Osage @vegetato @chris_barfield
To me in my opinion it just sounds like an extra step to cost you extra money… if your in coco you don’t need to really flush with water … as every time you water and create run off your pushing those excess salts… in my opinion your better off using something like slf100 or hygrozime to break down unnecessary salts … also adds a ton of other beneficials as well … and it also cleans your lines
Thanks for the reply.
I have this product that sounds like its the same idea as SLF100 have you heard of it?
I added a humidifier today, temp still too low.
I noticed the medium being very dry like the water is not being dispersed, gonna check on the timer, self water a bit tonight and put the timer back tomorrow.
It could be that the plant is just using more water at this point.
With Coco from what I know short watering many times per day is best because Coco doesn’t hold much moisture.
What is your time start times?
I’m doing
8:00 am 500ml (first day I did 500ml before was 250)
1:00 pm 250 ml
6:00 pm 250 ml
11:00pm 250 ml
Yeah I water 4 times a day but something is off or broken, just have to get to the bottom of it.
I cut all the bad leaves off today and topped three times each plant.
Still can’t get my timer to working so I will have to water manually once a day until I can get one.
Bent a bunch of bud sites under the scrogg to start filling out canvas.
Had one line that stopped working on hitem flora flex, traced it tryo the reservoir and found the line wasnt under the water, gonna have to get something to keep them weighted down.
Before the cut…
After the cut…
That sucks your timer isn’t working…
Just be careful 1 water in that little Coco pot many not be enough water for the day.
I’m not sure what you mean by hitem flora flex hose back to res…
The other end of the green lines that go into the reservoir.
I think I got the timer to working again and when the other end of the green lines arent emersed in water the pump can’t pump the water through to the other end of the green line where it dispenses the water into the pot.
Are you saying the pump lost it’s prime? I understand what line your talking about but I’m missing something don’t understand why the green line needs to be under water. The green line is your feed line
No not at all the line that goes into the reservoir was not down in the water it was sticking up above the water line.
I understand now I think the main line that hooks to the pump wasn’t under water
Ok I see now my extra green water line is wire tied to the main black feed line not in the water at all I don’t want it in the water. (it will get messy if you leave it in the water).
Why is it a problem if it isn’t in the water for you?.. I’m going to look to see if I have a old picture of my setup (not at home to take a picture)
not sure but all my lines are in the water and as soon as I pulled it back under the water it started coming out of the clamped side like it should.
Maybe tomorrow I will pull the lines and make sure that’s whats going on and I will post and let you know.
Could be that if their all under water and one is not it can’t pump through.
I only have two lines that I’m using and the rest are just to direct the water back to the reservoir so it doesn’t just spray all over the tent.
Mine looks like this
Note Where I circled you really can’t see it there is a wire tie loosely tied connecting the green line to the black mainline out of the water.
What I’m thinking your problem might be is syphon?
All your plants are hooked up to the main flora flex pump, mine looks like this…
Then to the clip over the pots right?
And you only have one wire going to the reservoir, do you have that many plants hooked up or am I missing something?
Because only four of my lines hook on to the clips over the pot because I have two plants, so the rest of the lines not sure how many maybe eight I directed to the reservoir like you did but only emersed in the water unlike yours right?
Same as you I have 8 lines in total
I have 6 plants So that is 6 line
1 line I run back into the tank (not using)
1 line I run to a big measuring cup. I do this to know if my pump failed (no water in cup means something is wrong) this way I know there is a problem before I see my plants crying for water. Also I record how much water I’m feeding.
This is a old video but it shows most of the setup
