Looks like your back on track new growth looks good to me… Did you end up flushing at all?

Nope haven’t changed or done a thing!
I was able to buy a air pump to circulate the nutes but the hose part is too small and doesn’t move anything.

Happy to see your girls turn around

I got the same pump as my feed pump… The idea was if my feed pump stopped working I could use this pump to keep watering the plants until I get a new one cir pump…

Works well mixing plus I liked the idea of having a backup pump on hand

You should probly not use air bubbles to
Mix your nutrients it causes ph fluctuation from the added hydrogen …

So its ok that the water sits still for so many weeks until used up?

No … @Mpower11 method is what you want to do … I as well do the same … I have a pump that pumps the nutrients to the plant then a pump that I turn a few times a day that circulates the water

This is what I do … the line that I’m holding goes to the plants … the line that is coming out of the lid then back is what recirculates my water … and there are two pumps inside the reservoir

@Mpower11 doesn’t recirculate he just has his pump move the water around his reservoir a couple times a day which was what I was trying to do.
I’m confused.

That’s exactly what I’m taking about …

Recirculating water is the same as moving the water around …

So he used a air pump and some clear cord and your saying I should or should not because of added hydrogen that fluctuates the ph.

Ok @chris_barfield I think I figured out what you mean.
The air pump is different from a water pump right? I wasnt thinking about the difference when I purchased the air pump that was totally not what I should of been looking for!
I couldn’t figure out why the hose line was so small! Lol!
Thanks again for paying attention to the detail!

Yes there you go lol

Just to confirm @chris_barfield is 100% right air bubbler will mess with your ph

I’m using a water pump the same one you are using to feed your nutes. I just got a hose on the end so the water don’t shot up out of my tank. Chris has a cool way looping threw his lid back into the tank

Just taking out loud on this one. I’m thinking about setting up a small second tank that only holds ph balanced water. The idea would be

Say

Example

4 waters per day total

3 with nutes last water for the day Just ph balanced water.

My thought is at night when your Coco dries up what happens is your Ec is going to raise and heat up your roots. Last water of the day will help keep your salts and Ec from climbing.

Next thought on it was thinking ahead I believe I need the ability start flushing different plants at different time’s because of so many different strains in the same grow. With this setup I would be able to do it.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Waste of time / money?

I love that ideal! How big of a reservoir you talking, wonder how long a five gallon bucket would last, either way it would be easy enough to keep filled and ph’d.

Well the answer is different depends on the person water time etc

For me it would work like this

30 sec water = 250 ml

250 x 6 plants (1500ml) per day

1500 x 7 days 10,500 ml

That would be 2.77 gallons a week

Now if you were flushing you would need more.

Honestly I’m thinking 5 gallons is lots
