Hey guys I’m 3 weeks into my Grobo and on day 6/14 of late vegetation. I’m totally new and will always check in with you guys every week. It looks good to me however I can’t tell how many nodes it has? And should I be topping or bending any leaves at this stage? Appreciate you Pro’s help.
Every section that branches off the main stem going up is a node. She might have 2 or 3 nodes at this point. Usually one would top at 5 nodes. If its an auto you dont have to do anything.
It is an auto. I top at some point right?
Thank you Todd.I really appreciate your help.
Autos dont like to be modified. If you wsnt to grow like that more hands on grow a photo period.
I’ll do what you say. Maybe that’s why auto is more for a beginner. So much to learn but I like that. So just let it go, no topping and see how it shakes out. I’m good with that. Forgive me for for asking twice. I just thought everything got. topped. This is fun stuff for me. Retired and nothing to do but learn.
Autos can and tend to stretch when you cut them. Even if its just the odd branch here and there. However, the reality is your dealing with a small space, so you control the end product. I dont grow any autos in the grobo and never will. Not the space imo, but if its your first, its a good quick easy way to learn the stages of the grow so nothing to worry about. My first was a male. Photos allow you to add a few days because you tore them apart and they recover and you can constantly do that. Some of them stretch, but most are manageable. Look through the recipes list, anything recommend by Grobo has been successfully grown by the team and is a good size for the unit. Thats where id start shopping until your comfortable on your own But keep her going and lets see what we can do. If anything, get some green plant ties and hold the big leaves down to let light on the little bud site/leave sites that are usually a lighter green.
Man thank you so much for taking the time to explain this to. I’m so appreciative of this forum and you in particular. Thanks again Todd
No problem were all here to help. @Mpower11 uses some kind of plastic contraptions to hold the leaves open i believe. Maybe he can share a photo
I have a few different styles
Thanks for the example!
Thanks Grower
How can so get some of those please?
Sent you a message
Thanks
Started Week 4 today. Day 14/14 in late vegetation. Just wanted to check in to make sure I’m on track. I attempted to tie down some large leaves. I’ll take any critiquing an/or advice. I thought I counted 4 nodes? Not sure. Tried to give the greener leaves some light. Should I do anything at this point about the bottom leaves? It’s an Auto seed using the Indica recipe.
