I feel the pain the lack of love is causing and wanted to give some insight as to why AllGrowers is limiting the likes. Here is what the founders of the platform state about the limit:
Having a limit makes likes more meaningful, because people won’t “spend” them quite as recklessly.
If there wasn’t a limit I’m sure somebody would write a script to “like” every post on the forum within a few days.
If we allowed people unlimited likes, likes lose their meaning and are totally open to abuse. We rate limit all things. We are also going to rate limit this by user, so you can’t like 20 of a single users posts in a single day.
Here is what I think:
The limit is something I can set, it’s currently at 50 a day. This is our community, so we can certainly raise this limit if we want.
What does everyone else think?

300 is a good number However I agree that there shouldn’t be a limit at all. It’s not as though you get money for likes. I personally don’t like everything because it would upset my inner curmudgeon lol.
