When to lollipop

Just wondering when to start lollipopping or pruning.

I’m 6 weeks in and vegging, should this be done prior to flowering? Should I already be trimming the browning leafs at the base of the plant? I’ve referenced a grow bible but it is sort of vague.

I’m growing grand daddy purps btw

Yeah take the brown leaves. And you can start lollipopping for sure. Just don’t take away more than 20% of the leaves etc at one time. And make sure to give her recovery time before doing any more
