Are we supposed to wait for a sensor/notification to drain and refill my grobo or do I automatically do it every 7 days?

So thats a great question. And brings up several issues.
Your notification timing is linked to your grow start time. Example plant at 1pm assumes all notifications at 1pm are considered the new day. So weekly notifications come at 1pm on said day
Problem is if you change your schedule say to run now peak hours, you still get the notification to drain fill at 1pm. Lights are out till 7pm on my unit so i do it then. The actual act of drain fill is what triggers your nutrients.
Your timing might be off but right day. If not go ahead you can always ignore the message
