USB Microscope with Flexible Stand

I really love this USB microscope for capturing pics of the trichomes.

However, the included flexible arm is not very flexible.
It’s hard to get the arm positioned right where I need it to around the flowers.

I tried using this instead, but I have the same problem:

Anyone crafty have a better solution how to digitally capture trichomes?
