Hello to all in this wonderful community. My grobo premium touches down tomorrow getting ready to head out to the hydroponic store what are some of the things I might need besides what comes with grobo and of course seeds anyone? Before I head to store
From my experience so far a spare air pump and air stone in case the stock goes bad. Also definitely some hydrogaurd and recharge. Hydrogaurd is only good for 6 months once opened so buy quart bottle. Also recommend a temp and humidity monitor which will be cheaper on amazon most more than likely. I am sure some of the champions may have some more things to add to the list.

Planned on getting that nano USB air pump just in case it was loud is that a good back up or the stock air pump a good back up and also is there any videos on hooking up some of these parts u mentioned also
I am pretty new to this too. I had to failed grows initially because I didn’t listen to the grobo and tried to modify some things I should have left alone. Third grow has been successful. Also I would definitely pick up a auto humidifier off amazon. TaoTronics Cool Mist Humidifier is great, will set u back about 50 dollars.

Spare air pump will be outside of unit with air hose run thru back left corner of unit. There is a removable panel. I just set humidifier on top of grobo. Depending on space I have seen some people place humidifier behind unit on a small table. My placement being on top of unit, maintains consistent humidity.

I would recommend smaller bag. It will last along time. You only use like 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water.

Air stones can differ in size and shape. Bar style air stones run length wise and round ones stand up. Just make sure if u buy a round one not to get the big one as per my experience.Also if u search thru search bar some of the champions have made previous recommendations also.

I would recommend you start with getting to know your grobo before spending lots of money.
Im going to say these are the things you shouldn’t be without and the rest are things you experiment with later.

- Bluelab (4.0 & 7.0 ) calibration solution = To calibrate probe/sensor.
- Hygrometer = To measure the humidity and temp inside the grobo.
- Bluelab PH Pen = To ph water for reservoir.
