Soil Auto Grow

Indeed it is! The real question now is if that is on the “all time” setting, or 24 hr setting. If all time, no real worries as the plant looks healthy, but if it’s on 24 hr setting, there’s gonna be problems very soon

From what I can see I agree the plant does look healthy. Could probably use a trimming to expose more light to bud sites which in turn could lower the temps a little, but that’s just my 2 cents.

I recently picked up a few “amazon” hydrometers to measure consistency with the readings coming from my thermostat. Intended purpose was to go in the grobo when I receive it. All of the them were slightly off, some by wide margins. Ended up with some cheapo “harbor” hydrometer/thermometer that seem to be within 1 degree of true temps. To my surprise were more accurate than some the 3 more expensive brands I selected. My point is there may be some inconsistencies with the device itself, but just guessing now

It keeps record of previous temps last month we had a huge heat wave so I had to mood to a cooler room. on that day it was 86f but I kept the door open to cool it down and gave her ice.

shes healthy no issues I’m on top of it . I dont want to defoil yet because she still small.not even 12in .

Looks a lot taller in the pic. Congrats on a successful grow :seedling::+1:

So is the setting on “all time” or 24 hrs? And do you have another hygrometer to measure if the current one is operating normally? :+1::v:

106 is nuttssss

:exploding_head: I don’t think I could get mine that high if I tried. Hottest mine got was 82 I think.

@Osage @James @chris_barfield @vegetato I don’t know what all this has to do with my grow, but thanks!

Its all time

You need to look into equatorial strains like afghani or sativas with temps that high

I only grow sativa

The cheap vs the expensive (hydrometer vs fancy co2 meter with rh and temp)

Pretty close to accurate for the cheapo and right on the money for the expensive. A lot of co2 in my home right now with me the kiddos and dog.

@LtcTerps I’m liking the SP-250. First off, the light is a hell of a lot better on the eyeballs than the blurple. I got the driver outside the tent and only have about a 3 degree temp increase over ambient. If you decide to do the same, check even the factory mounted wire connectors. They didn’t trim the wire insulation long enough and I believe the copper wire wasn’t contacting the set screws. Make sure you tin the wire ends with solder. The driver does get pretty hot. You can touch it with bare hands, but that won’t last for long. It gets uncomfortable quick. I got it sitting on an aluminum heatsink

EDIT: I also tweaked the power of the driver to draw 200w from the wall. Why? Because Mars said that setting had no effect on light efficiency while saving power. I’ll give it a shot  If you tweak the power, wait about 15 minutes or so after turning it on before adjusting. It takes a little bit to warm up to full power

You’ll see a major difference in growth with this light as compared to your previous one. I love mine Nd am getting one more for my 4x4 tent for my next run. :+1::v: Hope you used the 5% off code I posted

Thanks for the review! Does it have veg and bloom switch’s? So they did not wire driver longer for you?

No veg and bloom switch. I extended the driver wire myself (It’s really simple, i.e., if I can do it, anyone can). They sell the extra wire and connector separate for $20 US. Here’s the link to the Mars video on relocating and adjusting the driver

There’s no need for a veg to bloom switch it’s a full spectrum light meaning it can take you from veg to bloom without switching spectrums …
