Only leaves where light shines on would do the job.
I would thin something out. Not to much.
And the big branches bend down a little bit.
In my opinion. Plant need light and air to get a good result. Leaves in the dark area only steal nutes.

After defoliation and Bending of the big branches 1 or 2 weeks to transition… I know it’s a long time but quality not quantity at this stage I think.
