Also, has anyone tried either of these smart temperature and humidity monitors?
This one works with Alexa &/or your smart phone Reviews seem mixed.
This one works with your smart phone only Only 26 reviews on Amazon right now.

I have the Govee smart outlets and thermometer. Both work great as advertised and fairly priced.
I use the Govee, love it. I use Engbird, for the Water temperature, which has IOS App.
The Wemo Insight is nice also - That way you can see power consumption
You’re talking about this Inkbird Wifi controller, with options for both aquarium probe & temp/humidity probe, right?

I should have been more specific. Link below

Hmmm, seems the Govee Smart Outlets are no longer available on Amazon and one reviewer mentioned them not wanting to deal with people who bought it from Amazon, which is odd:

Anywhoo, so 10 amp smart plugs would be enough for humidifer/fans? Or should I look for 15A ones?
Ohh, that model is just bluetooth tho, I personally would need wifi capability in order to control it when I’m out of town, at least that’s my understanding from what I read so far.
Ok, so I ordered a smart power strip w/ surge protector instead of the individual plugs:

Also ordered the Govee wifi temp/humidity monitor I posted, but I got the model without the Alexa/ voice control which was $11 less.
My trip is at the end of the month so I’ll update you guys on these in April
10 amp should be enough. I really only use mine for lights because anything with a power button won’t automatically come on when the switch gets powered. I tried to run a heater and the power light would come on but the heater itself wouldn’t actually turn on. Keep that in mind when choosing equipment to run
Yeah, apparently you need the power switches to any connected equipment to remain switched “on” in order to control it with these types of devices, and would use the device to cut power to your equipment (turn it “off”). For now I only plan on using this for my humidifiers, fan, & maybe a dehumidifier if I end up needing one in the summer. If I end up falling in love with being able to control everything remotely, I just might switch all my outlets to smart outlets!
