Bought an extra set of nutrients when I bought my grobo so they have been sitting around since June. Number 5 looks lighter in color, faded over time - are they still ok to use or do I need a new set?

Yeah they’re good. Its normal for it to darken. Go ahead and use just give it a good shake

I think they may have either changed sources of the company that produces the nutes in bottle 5, or changed the ingredients. My recently purchased bottle 5 nutes are quite a bit lighter than the bottles I purchased back in the spring.
Wonder if they switched from Calmagic+ to something like Cal-Mag?

All good, we did tweak the colouring that goes into bottle 5. @Angiebaby shelf life is 3-4 years.
