So does the original grobo air stone have any special instructions on how to remove because it is stuck down with something!

@Bplatinum9 if the res is empty you can slowly heat with a hairdryer and turn left or right to loosen it up. Hope it helps.

That seems so formal, great question Bobbie!
We do secure the airstone with VHB tape. This stands for Very High Bond. Itβs sticky stuff and often needs a flat head screwdriver to help pry the airstone up. You can often stick the replacement right back onto the tape and it will hold it in place, offering bubbles right under the coco pod/peat pod to help with germination.
