Hope this is the right place for me. Just ordered my Grobo!!! I ordered from Blim Burn Grizzly Purple. Hopefully by the end of the year I can be up and running.
Any tips or suggesting to keep in mind when setting up and starting?
Thank you!

Awesome I hope your first grow goes well ,
Something else you possibly might want to think about for the grow would be possibly getting some hydroguard and possibly some recharge. They aren’t needed, but they will help out with the grow.

Goodluck
It’s pretty set it and forget it. So you should be ok. Only tip I would suggest is to maybe consider germinating your seed before planting it before hand for a higher chance of success.
Find a spot in your house that is a bit cooler, it will help prevent your res water from getting to warm and developing root rot
Thank you very much everyone! Looking forward to sharing the progress!
I would also say have an extra air stone and pump handy just in case your internal one shits the bed. It’s a regular occurrence
Make sure your ph probe is properly calibrated by you before you start.
Also, check all the tops on the nutrient bottle to make sure they are not pinching the hose closed preventing the nutrients being dispersed.
Yes is the short answer
Make sure you order the calibration kit . Go under maintenance settings and you will run a series of tests that will calibrate your sensor. Once you calibrate the ph 7 and ph 4 you can fill the reservoir, then you can put a ticket in and they will make sure the calibration took.
Ok thanks I ordered the kit when I ordered all my supplies
Definitely worth having this on hand. But don’t use it until support tells you to.
I learned that the hard way.
I would just use the hydroguard anyway it can’t hurt it.
I didn’t need it for my current grow but I’m still using it. Rather get it started with preventative measures than have to play doctor and recover after, saves time. Plus once you have it and open you need to use it within 6 months I believe
Noted! Check out my most recent grow that died. The tap root killed off. The suggestion was that I shouldn’t have used the hydroguard.
