Just had my Grobo arrive. Wondering where people have been setting up their boxes. With specific concerns about room temperature and clearance from the wall. Currently considering either my garage, basement utility room, or a converted spare linen closet.
Ideally chose a place that will stay between 65 and 75 degrees. I also recommend choosing a room small enough where you can control the humidity. You can make almost anywhere work. Farther away you get from ideal growing conditions the more things you will need to purchase… if that makes sense.

Unless your basement is air conditioned, I would suggest the linen closet.
Thanks guys. Basement is air conditioned…but it’s sounding like that linen closet (also in the basement) is the way to go…as the utility room isn’t.

The two other considerations are wifi signal strength and airflow around the unit. You will know once it’s in it’s final home if the unit/plant like it or not.
