Hi everyone, Highhopes here received my unit nov.3 and I’m on day 9 of germination and extremely excited to finally see some life! I’ve damn near read every post on here and I’ve gotta say what a great forum this is everyone is so helpful and pleasant. Look forward to many great grows(w/all your help of course) and some great advice-Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the welcome! Hope to tap into the knowledge base here (and elsewhere). Beginning a new venture in life as Dispensary Mgr. Decided to go all in and grow as well. I have very basic horticulture skills and understanding. I ain’t too smart, but I’m trainable. Hahaha
Past grow experience (aside from the occasional garden I may have actually had time to keep up with) was growing my own hops from rhizomes for personal brewing ventures. Turns out hops and cannabis have very similar genetics and care routines. Was quite successful at that and could batch up a beer that not only got rave reviews from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers, but could knock your socks off in the process.

Thanks for the welcome I’m very excited to be finally growing although I never grew before. I ordered my first gobo and planted a white widow and it died 20 days in. From the research I’ve been doing it was root rotted.
Since then I’ve ordered some things I didn’t have before and I’m waiting on the delivery and then I’m back at it. I will post pictures every step of the way this time.

Thank you! I posted some info on a cheap yet effective water cooling system for my Grobo if anyone is looking for a cheap solution to root rot issues. Works like a charm.

Hi, I’m Jim and excited to be here. I’ve grown outside for two seasons in New England with pretty good success.
Setup literally took less than an hour, and 5 days into grow one I have a sprout.
