Help! am i doing this right?!

i started trimming the bigger leaves off the bottom so the top could soak up more light and energy. here is a before picture and one taken after trimming. please let me know if anyone has any tips or tricks for trimming to get the best results. this is my first time growing, let alone using a grobo unit!! anything is appreciated!! thank you :slight_smile:
