First timer!

Hi guys, I’m completely new to growing, this is my 2nd attempt, on my first go I didn’t soak the seeds for 24hrs etc I just put them straight in to coco provided (it was well soaked). This time I soaked them an soon as I seen a shoot I planted them. Both at same time, I’m a little concerned about one of them, the one I’m concerned about has root exposed aswell?
Any help or tips greatly appreciated.
I’m in :uk:

Roots will expose themselves and eventually will be suspended in the water. Your coco looks soaked. Push the coco up about 1.5-2 inches. U can place a small fan blowing at coco if need be. Also as side note coco should be damp not soaked. Also u can blot coco with some paper towel to absorb some of the moisture. As a side note roots don’t like light exposure either so try to minimize it.

Thanks for replying :ok_hand:t2:
The bottom 3 pics are of the one I’m worried about, the leafs/stem bending.

The top 2 pics are of the healthier looking one, that one has no root exposure yet?

I know they will expose themselves as the grow, I just wondered if it was an indicator to something in the bendy one as the healthy one has no exposed roots as yet.

When I say soaked I mean the time it tells me to soak the coco in water before planting.

You can see a difference between the two, both got planted same time, same type etc etc. Pardon the pun but I am green to this :joy::joy:

She will straighten up. Some of them tend to have a gangster lean. I am referring to the look of your coco in the pictures. If it stays to wet your plant will suffer dampening off.

Ok cool, I’ll blot the coco a bit, with regards to another fan, is there a fan that small to go in there? How would it be powered?

U can use a ac infinity fan usually usb powered. Cord can run down side out back panel. Also u can get a regular corded desk fan. Either way.

Have you fitted these in yours? Does that require making a hole?

Yes I have them and a lot of others growers use them as well. U pass the cord down the back and bring it out a access panel that is on bottom right hand side. No hole drilling required.

Awesome! If you can show me how you ran the cables that will be cool!

What’s the hook on the right hand side for?

The hook is used for training purposes.

I’ll have a look, so u use some string or something of the like from hook to branch to expose more light in centre?
