I am now on to week 3 of my grow. When draining/refilling today I noticed some spots on a leaf. Is this something I should be concerned about?

it’s a classic with the grobo… nothing to worry about
Just make sure you did not put your coco pod too deep, most beginners makes that mistake
It should be something like an inch over the cover
you can push it gently from the bottom if it’s your situation

If that is 100% it should be an inch above the plate, then they need to fix the instructions as mine said to put it 1" DOWN or even with it, when starting the grow depending on the cover you have.

The 1" above is a precautionary measure. I’ve seen grows work with no issues at flush with the lid, but i’ve also seen a lot of issues with damping off with the pod flush. It’s a choice for you to make…as I said, precautionary measure.

OK as mine is about even with the top and I can’t move it as the bottom is breaking and the root is already coming out. I was looking, but might be to risky to force it.
