Does it look ok? I have never grown anything before so I am not sure where it should be. It is day 18 and day 8 of 14 in early veg

Just double checking… Do you have an older Grobo? If so then great! If not, your coco pod should be flush with the lid.

Yes. I have had it for over a year but just got to pulling it out and growing something (I travel quite a bit). It is one of the originals I believe.

As long as you have a solid wifi connection they are pretty friendly for travel. I’m usually on the road 5 days a week, the water level gets a little low but I love it so far. Enjoy it!

Do I need to trim it now? How should I trim it? Sorry, very new to this all.

Looking pretty good @Sammmmmmmm ! The top leaves look great. I wouldn’t be too concerned, things look fine. You dont need to cut the large fan leaves away yet, what day are you in the cycle? Eventually you will start to bend or trim away some of those large fan leaves that will block some of your bud sites. One she gets taller you will removing the fan leaves pretty much from a foot down the top of canopy and below.

Keep an eye on those, it may just be a one time thing, and sometimes early leaves may develop a spot or two, but that seems like it may be on the way to nutrient-burn. Have you skipped any water-change days? At 18 days you should be coming up on your second change at day 21.

I am on day 26 today. My app tells me to change once a week on Friday usually. I did miss one change and changed it 2 days later (two weeks ago). I added a picture from this morning. It does look like there are a couple more leaves this morning with a dot or two on them. I have attached a photo.

If you changed your water two days late then that’s what those are. They’ll go away if you did the water change, just make sure to keep an eye on it. If you want you can do a water change half way through your week just to be safe. Good luck

I always either FIM or top my plants. The grobo nutrients provide a super quick recovery. If it were me I would top your plant after the fourth node and take off a few of the fan leaves, they’ll fall off anyways no use soaking up the energy. how many days total is your grow?

Ok - I am soo new to this but I had a friend (who is also relatively new) try and help me. I think I topped it. Did I do it correct or far enough down? I was not quite sure how far down to go.
