First grow - Gorilla Glue Auto

I’d wait till your day 14 drain/fill so it doesn’t throw the reminders off. If you’re good with keeping a schedule and sticking to it, you can do it now if you want. I’d somewhat recommend waiting till it’s day 14 to give her a little more time before it introduces nutes though.

My germination was scheduled to end day 10. Does it not introduce nutes until day 14 anyway with the next water change? I’m fine with waiting if that’s works best.

I don’t think it does…but I could be wrong. I used to pay so much attention but now I watch the plant and nothing else lol. Usually nutes only dispense on d/f, not by change of schedule. This would be the point to check and see if your bottom fan is spinning though…just to make sure.

Nutes are dosed on your very first drain and fill!

Looking droopy today. The coco pod is still really wet after a few days of lifting it up. Relative humidity at 53%. Day 14 tomorrow so I’m hoping the water level decrease will dry it out some more with the next water change. Added 5 ml of hydroguard yesterday. Any suggestions?

Put a small fan in there that will dry it out for u :+1:t2::dash::seedling:

Fans arrive tomorrow. Do the peat pods have the same issues as the coco pods? I got the grobo start after germinating this one in the coco pod. Hopefully that works better next time.

I really don’t no about the peat pods I don’t have a start but the regular pods in my experience work very well this is my 3rd :3rd_place_medal: grow in the grobo an never :-1:t3: experienced any damping off or anything like that just a fan some hydrogurd an some neem oil for the nats :+1:t2::dash::seedling:

Fans installed. Extra air pump installed. Dehumidifier running in the room. Hydroguard added. Hopefully she perks up now!

If those fans have speed control make sure you set them on low. She’s still small and you don’t want to bombard her with air movement this young.

They do have speed control and they’re set pretty low. Coco pod is still moist though. Even with the bottom ripped off.

Roots are starting to grow out of the side of the coco pod that’s lifted up. Will this be a problem? Should a lower it down a bit so those are below the surface?

Why is it even that high? Never saw one so high before, seen some up 1/2 inch maybe.

Because the coco pod is still really saturated and the plant was drooping. The grobo support page recommends 1-2”. I also keep seeing people saying the underside of the lid should be dry. Mine is not, even in early veg with the lower water level. I’m not sure how it’s possible for it to be dry given the physics of evaporation and condensation.

She is a bit high, you can remove your toothpicks and let her down about 1 inch, the roots will still grow towards the water and you can reinsert the toothpicks to hold it in place. She will recover as you are doing this early enough in her life.

Thanks. I lowered her back down a bit. The coco pod has dried out nicely now, but she’s still looking like she’s struggling. Got a few brown spots and the new growth doesn’t look very healthy.

If shes fighting damping off because the pod was to moist she may need a little extra time to recover. Keep an eye on new leaf growth

She’s coming around more now. Gonna try the grobo start with peat pods next time. Also installed some upgrades.

Are you sure it was over saturated as it looks dry and probably lacking water.
