Chop off some of the huge fan leaves maybe 3 or 4 to open it up

I would nix those to start, wait a bit then trim a few more. I personally never trim more than 15% of the plant at a time, with at least one rest/recuperation day in between.

Hey man! I would trim some of the larger fan leaves that are higher up and possibly blocking lower bud sites.
On the picture I marked the fan leaves in red circles that I would trim. Also try to bring down your temps into the 70s

Went on vacation for a week and came back to some new growth. Is there a point in the grow cycle where you should stop trimming? I’m on day 7/60 for flowering. Any tips or advice is welcomed!

Also I know the temperature in the photos is high. Typically stays around the mid-70s but I had some additional heat in the room at the time.
Id chop off the branch bottom right thags not even half way up. Let the plant focus on the buds higher up
Honestly, I’d chop all the bottom branches that don’t reach within 1 foot of the top of the canopy, if you look closely they are 5 or 6 it appears that can go. Pure wasted energy that could be utilized by you main bud sites up top.

Should be fine then, just make sure to get all branches pulled to the sides so that they don’t burn up under the light.
