Hey guys, how many of you run an extra air pump in the Grobo during your grow?
I have an extra air pump but I’m not sure if I should have it running or leave it turned off and use it as a spare backup. My Grobo got disconnected from the WiFi and the air pump temporarily wasn’t working today. Thanks.
Just leave the secondary pump running, this way if Grobo pump fails you won’t miss a beat.
I run 2 external pumps. Sometimes the original pump kicks in, than 3 are running. I had to Replace one of the external pumps during flowering.
The Grobo pump is always powered on as long as the Grobo itself is on. I don’t think it’s affected by wifi connection issues. I’d definitely suggest keeping your extra pump running - more oxygen means happier roots and it’s one less thing to worry about.

That’s odd, my Grobo pump has been off twice in less than a month. Had to powercycle the machine a few times to get the pump on again.
Might be a loose connection to the computer board on the side. Either way you’re covered!
