Had to cut 10-15 off the top because it reached the light… Tried bending it but it wasn’t enough its bushy and seriously not enough room… I even trimmed it and also cut off the top earlier in the stage, so hope not it will ruin a good yield or grow. Wouldn’t push it down into the water because it wouldn’t give enough room…

It’s crazy tall and not even 10 days into flower… You think I could trim even more? Cut it down further?

At what day in the recipe did you flip to flower? What height was the plant when you flipped? EG 1st fan, 2nd fan, half-way between fans, etc.

Here are some recent suggestions I’ve made (from other suggestions of Champions and veteran growers on the forums)

Do you have magnetic hooks on hand? You might be able to pull the branches down and hook them against the walls a bit to gain some space if needed (Think grabbing them down low and pulling downward carefully to bring the entire branch down a bit)

Also, using those same hooks to keep the branches against the wall (Up higher) is another way to keep them away from the “Square of Hot Fiery Destruction” that they may soon come to know.

Low stress training and/or/ supercropping is another option to help as well.

Hopefully your plant is done stretching soon! If it stops, you’ll have no problem keeping things arranged and out of the light I do believe.

Once the stretch is confirmed to be over, you also have an option that some of the people on AG have used in the past, which is to drop the cocopod itself down into the reservoir. This will net a couple of inches of vertical height. It is suggested to make sure your plant is done stretching and definitely in flower (which yours is)

If your plant keeps stretching, one thing you might be able to do to combat it is to take the branches down by the bottom and carefully attach them to the side walls from the lower section of the plant. This would essentially lower the height of them by a bit.

Also, you could criss-cross the ones on the left and secure them to the right wall, and vice versa, making a bit of a twisted look like @vegetato recommended to me before:

One option you might still have, if the stem isn’t too thick/hard, is to slightly bend some of the branches to the alternating side, something like this:

That could drop the canopy by a good 6 inches or so.

Super cropping is also an option, or some light stress training.

If she stops stretching, then you should be good to go, but I would highly suggest having a back up plan just in case!

Harvested and cure the Durban Poison now and got 2.25oz and that was after chopping 20cm off the top due to growing too high.

I would say for a first time it was successful. Have cleaned the Grobo and started a new Holy Grail Kush grow (Generic)
