On the germination stage of my do-si-dos and was wondering if it is normal to get a fill notification by itself and not a drain notification. Thanks

Yes, the fill/top off notifications are on a simple timer. They are not linked to your fill sensors in any way. You can ignore this one (unless you want to try for practice). Starting in week three you’ll need to top off your reservoir once a week. As your plant grows and requires more water you will most likely need to up the amount of top-off fills to two or three times per week.
