Finally got around to setting up my grobo the other night after months of having it. Had a a seed starting using the paper towel method for germination. Saw the seed started to split(no tap root out yet) and threw my seed into the cocoa pod. Did I screw up not letting it get the tap root out?

No, that should be just fine. Some just wait till they see a white speck on the seed and plant that downward.

Yea, you’re fine. Some people even start the seed right away in the cocopod. I always start it first in paper towel too but you will be fine either way
