I am on day 16 of my GG grow. And its still just the two cotyledon leaves and one has a little browning. Should I be concerned?

Have you checked your tank to be sure your pumps are working? Do you see bubbles?
What brand is your seed? Some genetics simply dont stack up.
Have you marked your nutrient bottles to be sure nutes are being dispursed?

day 16 in… something is stunted, bad genetics or bad seed. Start again imho.

Well this is quite frustrating. This is my second damn attempt in this machine. First trying their method of just planting the seed and then germinating it the normal way.

I mean I now have to buy all new set of nutrients. I’m frustrated. There are worse things but I’m a little annoyed

your bottles should be full still for day 16, you might have 1 and 2 used a bit.
would need a new pod and new seed. I use the germinating method directly in the pod and only had 1 seed not pop. I dont like germinating it outside the grobo. Where are you getting your seeds from?

I am getting them from ILGM.
Could have just been the seed then ot how they stored it. Tbh better to restart on day 16 then 100 plus. I assure you first hand.
I think a lot of users use ilgm so i think your ok

Definitely no need to start with new nutes. Even when your next grow is over, mark the bottles so you have an indication of where you are starting from, but I dont change my bottles until they get low or if I see them starting to discolor.

if this is your second one, I would put in a ticket too just to have the team check from their side. It could be bad seeds for sure but wouldn’t hurt to be safe.

@lego880 Here are some alternatives to ILGM. I’d avoid buying from True North Seedbank, they don’t guarantee seed germination. ILGM however is awesome when it comes to seeds that don’t germinate. I had 2 Girl Scout Cookie seeds that were duds, they sent me 5 replacement seeds.

Just finished chatting with @Dani and reviewing your unit. Everything looks good on the data side, the unit is running smooth. I’ve recommended you push the coco pod up a touch to help fight damping off and you may want to add something to the reservoir to help fight root rot. You can give her one more week in early veg to see if she bounces back at all. That tap root looks good, so you may see some growth this week. If not, as our wise Champions have advised, a restart.

Customer service is definitely top notch! Do you have a temp gauge placed in your unit? If not, whats the general temp of the room it is staying in? Hydroguard is definitely not a necessity if the elements are correct but it never hurts to have. I didnt use any for my 1st two grows but I ordered some for my next one as it definitely has it benefits.
