When do you cut them. Or should you just leave them as is. So many different opinions?

For a growbox, your space is limited, you will need to cut any fan leaves that are blocking budsites below from getting light if you want decent flowers and yield

@Vicc is correct, keeping the light down through your plant in such a small contained area is crucial, and beneficial for plant growth!
However, can you post a new pic of your plant? I think it might be too early for you to take any leaves off @Sampson39 … I think if you’re unsure, it’s best to post a picture alongside your question of the current state of your plant.
