Yesterday I made some canna oil from my harvest. I took ALL of my leaves, trim, sugar leaves, and stems and slow cooked them for 12hrs. @Bplatinum9 what’s the separation I’m seeing? Could that be the water?
Did you strain? Looks like sediment from your stock to me.
Try using cheese cloth to get the majority out.
I used a nut bag to strain it, maybe I should of did it twice. However it’s strong af and I just drizzled it on my avocado toast (1/2 tsp on each slices. Whew… I can’t wait to smoke my flower after it’s ready.
hell yea, Sunday brunch will never be the same!
That diffinatly should have worked to keep most of the sediment out.
I’m not sure if the holes are bigger than the cheese cloth so maybe try it both ways and tell us which is better!
I’d love to know. You can always get a levo 2!!! I love how it seperates the oils and controls the grams per serving.
NEVER will be
Noted on the levo. This is the nut bag I have that have veeeery few holes. Smaller than the cheese cloth. I have no idea what happened honestly lol. All I know was that in the middle of the night my house was LOOOOUUUUDDDD smelling
emphasized textYeah it definitely looks small enough.
You may be able to pour the sediment off at the end of the process pretty easy once it all goes to the bottom.
The coconut oil usually hardens anyway, so it shou Id be easy to seperate either way.
Hope your not in an apartment with your loud self! lol!
If I come across something better I’ll post it here!
P.s. Most of the recipes call for a metal strainer before using the cheesecloth.
Ambition now did you juice the fan leaves? Plenty of antioxidants
no thank goodness I’m in a house. Thank you
Not with these leaves, the fresher ones I will
My freezer is full of them! Lol don’t know what to do! Have no room for food😆
better get to juicing
