Lets see how she responds to today’s trim.
Couldnt wait. Needed to reduce bud sites.
Snuck it in as i saw 3 branches with a single hair each. So hoping she doesnt try to repace leaves and just dumps into bud production on the main colas
Back left still looks like wind or light burn. Nutrients are equal for all 3 and the blueberry on the right is the whole right side of the tent.
Last feed in a week and looks like they need it.
Bottom front left is the GG.
Used some worm casings and myco grow fungi for a quick recovery top up today. I think they need it before the last feeding. Just half a cup and half a tsp per pot. Almost every branch is above the netting. I think stretch is mostly done although on the daily gopro capture theyre still growing a bit. They might still be recovering from the big trim too so hence the little soil boost. Since its organic no harm to anything. The worm castings act like cal mag.
P.s. i dont want them to grow higher due to limited ceiling space due to my poor setup. Got a few hack hang jobs and some pro hang jobs. Need them all to be pro to give me about 4.5 more inches at the top.
Currently 21 inches top flower to light
Buds are starting to form. Looks like she is recovering well indeed. I will see this medium is my new favorite. The more i read and learn! They get 52 oz every 2 days which is just under 1.6 litres. I suspect that could be fine tuned, however its not a concern. Smooth sailing so far.
Oh man this is a special time my brother Glad to hear everything is getting better
For you and @Aang
Worth keep doing these videos longer ?
Go pro lasts 2.5 hours. Ive got it rigged to last 12 for lights on
This is the result so far.
You’ve truly maximized your 2x2! I’m very excited to see how you do, as I’m about to use my 2x2 as a possible veg tent. Super excited to watch this go.
On that note, I saw you left a fair amount of new growth/young foliage on the lower nodes below the trellis. I didn’t see any recent pics of the lower branches in your latest post so I’m assuming that you have left some young bits as opposed to trimming the stems bare. Can I ask why? I feel like that might leech from your colas. Man am I excited to watch you finish this out. I hope you grow a pound.
Mostly because i attacked the trimming during transition. Id run my hands through the leaves and some were wet when all signs were everything was fine. So that was my priority as your aware my humidity control is hard. 20c+ one day snowing the next. Thats been april daily. Yes there is some there. On Saturday ill do her last top feed and do a final trim up. Ive been inspecting them and no buds are really developing down there so not worried.
Trellis qas a different game as i did so much LST i really need to pre trim give another week and then switch but live and learn. I was also drying at 60 percent in the room… so yeah. Seems to have avoided any major issues.
Yeah they did. Cant wait for the smells!!!
For sure man U can always educate people with those
I have a couple Gopros and it pisses me off that they don’t have better time lapse choices. All of the selections take photos too often. I did one grow and taped together a million different clips that took me forever. It looked great but was not worth the editing time IMO
Yeah your girls are gonna produce w/ all that LST!! This strain will take all the abuse she can get.
I’m sure the humidity changes won’t hinder you much, the stretch seemed to fill the gaps and cover ground.
You’ve got this covered champ. I’ve learned a lot from you in the short time I’ve been on this forum.
I was mostly curious if you were planning to monster crop and reveg. In which case you’d leave some. It’s been on my mind since I saw Matt’s latest BBCxWC reveg here on Instagram
Hey I just saw this, yes please keep posting the timelapses! They’re sooooo helpful
Anyways, I’m impressed with the GG as it didn’t stretch more than the blueberries. Usually she’s a 3x stretcher if I’m not mistaken. Nice and solid trellising.
Ahhh I can’t wait to see this screen of green do her job.
No, i havent considered any of that. Cloning nothing. At this point i dont have the funds regularly to build. Maybe in a few years ill have a larger setup. To do that i would need more space. And likely a permit or license to grow more than 4 plants. Matt lives in Toronto and always has a dozen or more plants which means he has a license. That makes it easier to re veg and still grow crops in other tents.
Matt has killer crops for 2 reasons and 2 reasons only imho. 1. He uses a lot of the myco fungi on multiple stages of grow and also veges for 3 months. He can do that because he has multiple tents and areas with different humidity etc in his house. Check out his electrical cabling running everywhere in his old videos. Hehehe. P.s. i did not know you could do that to a plant after harvest… i do not have any social media except this so i never see that stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Ok so time lapse helps.
That video is a highlight reel so i might just join em all for a 15 min video time lapse
I did a check 2 days ago and all bud sites except 3 cleared the trellis. I was giving everything till Friday Saturday before i decide to hades it or leave it. I am undecided upon many things tbh and really like @NYS saying plants are always in a gray are. I think its articulately accurate. The smell this morning was starting to be pronounced. Room is sitting at 40 to 42 rh atm with no humidifier on. This weekend ill be grabbing a oscillating fan potentially. Only option i have is to leave tent door open to put a breeze on the lower parts and moving so no wind burn. Then i think im set. Although im not happy with that option. Ill have to replace filters already as the one in there is dark now and clearly not new.
Rambling…haha. Saturday will be the big day
Hoping everything works out for you! Oscillating fans really helped me out. I purchased three Honeywell oscillating fans from Amazon and they should do the trick for years.
I just recently washed my carbon filter sleeve. I let it run for a few days without one and the exhaust is so loud. The sleeve collects dust and dampens vibrations I suppose
For the longest time I’ve had a stationary fan on setting 2 that is pinned between the wall behind my tent and the tent’s screen vent on the lower back side of the tent. Helps push air extremely well from the lower canopy. But clearly not ideal.
With 4 plants in there at once it was too crowded. Not doing that again
Mmmmm I love a grow tent full of beautifully healthy flowering plants
