Blue Widow

Good morning!, first time ever creating a forum account. My grobo arrived last week on Thursday and i just set it up yesterday. I was unable to find a Blue Widow recipe so i just went with a Blueberry recipe. Any pointers or suggestions? I’m on a short window as i want to finish a grow before my lease is up so it was a rush last night. My seed is a Dinafem Blue Widow Fem.

Welcome @DEisen !

You’re going to enjoy the hell out of your Grobo! Wait for one of the champs to confirm but I think you may want to switch your recipe to “Generic Hybrid” as the Blueberry Strain is just half of your genetic and that White Widow is going to need some love too! Also remember that recipes are just a loose general guideline and by no means “set in stone” it is definitely an advantage to use the right recipe (in your case I think Generic Hybrid) but you will need to pay close attention to your plant and react to her specific needs. Post as much as possible here on AG, there are so many awesome Pro Growers here that are always willing to help!

Open a ticket at support@grobo.io and ask them to change the recipe to generic then. You’re plant will benefit. And on the recipe page is a request button for new strains so feel free to pop it in.

Will do! I submitted a for blue widow recipe last night along with another strain that i forgot… pretty cool i thought. Thinking about submitting for all of my strains in my collection that aren’t on there yet. However, I am still in the “figuring out my grobo” phase and in the “learn to trust the machine” phase. So far, I have over 60 strains in my private collection and working on building a collection of all of the Elite, Land Race and Rudiralis strains. Playing the Adult version of Pokemon here… gotta grow em all! Hahah.

That being said, I gave grobo a try since Seedo looked like wayyyyy too much of an inconvenience in every aspect of my needs. Plus when i called grobo before placing an order, I was blown away as to how informative the guy was that i spoke to. They seemed too friendly to pass up a business opportunity. So far, there are a couple of minor things I’ve found by staring at my box for a few days and admiring the design. Just a few minor flaws but nothing that can’t be fixed down the road and I’m not complaining. I see a major potential with Grobo and i hope they get bigger and understand that I’m here during the early stages where input gets turned into upgraded and stronger built products. That being said, a way of investing how i see it. I’m thinking this is still a “Beta” phase of the project.

Moving forward, I’m eager to see what my personal grow looks like and how well the system guides and raises my grow compared to manually operated Md monitored hydroponics.
This has always been a hobby of mine that i have not been able to persue due to laws and circumstances associated with growing in a rent house.

Testing the waters…
