• As far as putting two seeds into one coco pod, I don’t recommend it. Especially one that is 5 days old being topped with a freshie. If the seed isn’t active, it will start to decay and have a negative impact on the new seed. (You can pull the pod open in several spots and drop a seed in each, but you will have to cull them if more than one sprouts. You only want 1 plant per coco pod.)

You’ll know by how it looks up top first and foremost, here’s one simple indicator: If the leaves are drooping/sagging a bit she’s probably having trouble with oxygen/nutrients in the root zone which is a sign that the bad bacteria is winning. If the leaves are perking up (after having been drooping/sagging a bit) then it’s a sign that the good bacteria is winning. Once you find the sweet spot, mark a line on your Fill Float so you know when it’s properly full. Like this:

I actually overfilled her a little bit (or I didn’t account for the displaced volume once I put the 3rd seedling back in it’s spot. You can see the peat pods look wet again

I’m not sure why it’s too wet. Or how I should say. Only the wick is in the water. The wick is however up inside the pea pod and not just touching it. Is this why? And no. Only one seedling. I did think it looked pretty yellow. @SilverGrobo
