Get that humidity up in the tent or cover them with domes/bags to increase humidity! That’ll help the clones produce roots
that’s a good idea actually specially since Im dealing with very low humidity right now.
We are debating where in the cycle this clone should be.
The mother plant is in late veg but I think this clone is set back to early veg to recover and train.
We are going to keep them on the same cycle as the grobo because we could get really good bud in 4 months .
Personally, I’ve had trouble with clones in the past. Humidity plays a very large part. Some people use aloe Vera mixed in water to promote root growth. I just bought some FOOP but have yet to test it out. Probably gonna try cloning this weekend as I just bought some beans I want to breed but my technique for increased humidity has been plastic bags draped over top the plant/clone and spritzed w water. Works like a charm.
This is the goal as always my friend!
Always defoliating for me… I pick a few every day or so during flower to make sure bud sites are exposed, she’s budding up!
Hey @Ginseng hows your golf leaf? I took clones of my own a few days ago. Wondering how your cultivar looks!!
Mmmm yessir!
Now she should be good for around 3-4 weeks before she needs another haircut.
@OrionsCeiling Hey been crazy busy and recently been locked out of my account but I’m back.
Unfortunately the 2nd Gold Leaf developed a root infection that I could not cure and I ended up cutting her last nite. Upon further investigation on why the infection developed we looked back at the 1st Gold leaf that died because the unit wasn’t feeding nutrients. I then cleaned the unit to sanitize it and planted the second gold leaf and this time unbeknown to me the air pump slowed down creating some bubbles but not enough. I checked for bubbles before and saw them and moved on but when I compared the bubbles to my other Grobo I realized the issue. I put in a 3rd party air pump and ran a hose so I can grow my next seed.
The good news is the 4 Clones are looking great and even though we lost the mom we will make sure the kids grow strong!
They look great! I’m having a tremendously difficult time getting my clones to root.
Any recommendations?
Make sure to use the rooting gel once you cut them.
I have clay and water with light nutrients for food. Water temp 70 degrees with humidity around 60-65. Cover roots really well they will only grow if it’s dark. Change water every 7 days and up the dosage of nutrients to normal after the 1st dosage.
Make sure it’s bubble city under there and the air pump is going. No oxygen means tons of problems.
That’s my standard practice!
Thanks for the advice! Here’s after a few days:
One tap. Lol at least she rooted! I’ll probably take more later.
Yeah she is looking great!
Thanks! Hoping they’ll look like yours soon. I suppose I’ll transplant into a coco/fertilizer mix in a week or so as I don’t have any room for anything hydro!
Looking good! I cant wait to see her bud more to see her true colors
